Zero

For the rest of the night he kissed and stroked her body, loving every inch of her. “Your curves are my new favorite toy,” he said, dropping kisses to her lips. “I own every inch of you now,” he said, smiling down at her.

“And I own every inch of you.”

“I owe you my life, baby. Not only did you save me from a murderous bastard, you gave me a reason to live.”

She smiled, touching his check. “A debt of life. You’re going to have a horrid life. The only way I want you to pay me back is by spending the rest of your days with me.”

“Baby, I got the better end of the deal. It’s the best debt I’m ever going to repay.”

He claimed her lips, moving her ready to claim her once again. Prue was on cloud nine. She had Zero’s love, and she couldn’t think of anything better to have in the world.

Epilogue

Butch had thought long and hard about what he was going to do. If he wanted Cheryl and the chance to be with her son, then he was going to have to make sacrifices. Glancing around the club, he saw Whizz was in the corner drinking a coffee. He looked troubled, with Killer and a heavily pregnant Kelsey watching him.

Tate and Murphy were sitting, talking.

It was a Friday night, and he didn’t want to be here anymore. Cheryl was his future. Nothing had happened between them. Whenever he went to visit her either at the church or at home, she offered him a hot chocolate and conversation. She was the first woman to not demand anything other than a chat.

Not once had she showed off her body or flashed her tits.

Getting up from his seat he made his way toward Tiny’s office. He heard the groans coming from inside.

Knocking, he knew he was going to get f**ked, but he needed to do this. It was do this or live with regret.

“This better be f**king good,” Tiny said. “Come in.”

Opening the door, he saw Eva was staring out of the window. Her clothes were all over the place.

“Butch, what can I do for you?” Tiny asked.

“There’s something I need to talk with you about.” Butch stood opposite the desk.

“What can I do for you?”

He removed his jacket, the leather cut of The Skulls, and placed it on the desk. “I’m out.”

“What?”

“There is a woman I want, and I know I can’t go to her until I know for certain this life is behind me.”

Tiny was silent, staring at him, and Eva had even turned to look at him.

“With everything that has happened I will not risk her life. I’m out.”

“You’re quitting The Skulls for a woman?” Tiny asked.

“Yes.” Butch stared at his cut, missing the feel of it on his body. “My stuff is already packed, and I’m leaving.”

He got up from his chair, shook Tiny’s hand and headed toward the door. His time with The Skulls was over.
