Seduction (Club Destiny #3)(67)
Author: Nicole Edwards

Sitting up when he pulled her, Ashleigh immediately dropped to her knees before him, going after his jeans like a crazed woman until his erection sprang free. Completely oblivious to everything else going on in her house, she focused on one thing. Pleasing this man.

Long minutes later, Alex was gripping her hair, holding her to him as he groaned out his release, filling her mouth with his salty taste. When she thought he would have mounted her right then and there, the way the others were doing, he surprised her by picking her up and carrying her to the bedroom.

The bedroom door clicked shut behind them as he deposited her on the bed, coming to lay beside her, halfway covering her with his body.

“Damn, baby.” He whispered, sounding as stunned as she felt.

“I need to feel you, Alex. Inside me. Now.” She urged, trying to pull him over her. Before he did, he reached into the drawer of the bedside table, retrieving a condom he’d placed there the last time he was at her house. Apparently he didn’t want to be left without protection.

After what felt like days, but could have only been seconds, he was sheathed and buried to the hilt inside of her.

“Look at me, Ashleigh.”

Her eyes opened to see the glittering green emeralds staring back at her, filled with so much more than just lust. Using his hands to hold himself above her, he ground his pelvis against hers, effectively driving his cock deeper and deeper, but never actually retreating.

She clung to him, never wanting to let him go, trying to pull him closer even though they were as close as two bodies could be. When he dipped his head down, claiming her mouth, she kissed him back with all of the pent up sexual energy that the erotic game had inspired and then some.

Before she knew it, her orgasm was taking over, igniting deep in her core before radiating outward, sparking flames in its wake. Screaming his name as she came, Ashleigh gave in to the darkness when it came over her.

Two hours later, Ashleigh and Alex emerged from her bedroom after a much needed nap. It was dark outside, but after sleeping like the dead, her body entirely sated, she was more than a little energetic. Thankfully the house had cleared out, and the only two left were Ashleigh and Alex. Just the way she wanted it.

“So, what’s on the agenda tonight?” Alex asked, picking up a copy of her manuscript that she’d left on her kitchen table.

“Hmmm…” She could think of a few things, but she’d let him figure it out for himself.

Dropping the papers, he made his way over to her. “I was thinking we could go back to my place and pick up where we left off in the swimming pool.”

She definitely wasn’t opposed to the idea. Smiling up at him, she let him pull her into his arms. “I could –” she didn’t complete the thought because it suddenly dawned on her that he had a house guest. One Ashleigh had no intention of meeting.

Pulling away, she busied herself cleaning up the kitchen.

“What’s wrong?” He asked, catching on to her drastic mood swing.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

Alex walked up behind her, pulled her against him and then nuzzled her neck. “She’s gone, Ash. I wouldn’t put you through something like that.”

Relaxing against him, she soaked up his warmth for a minute. Could she do this? It would be so easy to forget what had happened, to accept what Alex told her about his ex-wife, but Ashleigh was still anxious.

Letting him in had been hard enough, but if they continued to pursue what was happening between them, she was risking so much more than the hurt she’d endured already. If for some reason this didn’t work out, Ashleigh’s heart would be forever shattered, likely irreparably.

Being in his arms, feeling the warmth of him surrounding her felt so right, so real, Ashleigh feared what would happen if she didn’t give in to this. If she held herself back from him, even a tiny piece, she’d be cheating herself out of something she’d waited years to discover. She had to trust him. She had to. There was no other option.

Inhaling deeply, she whispered, “Ok. Let’s go.”

When they walked into Alex’s house, Ashleigh still felt the nervous tension, as though the woman who had been there would pop out of nowhere just to surprise him. Relief washed over her when no one came slinking out of any of the rooms. Instead, Alex went to the kitchen, grabbed two bottles of water and then took her hand before leading her out to the back.

It was dark outside, and he had flipped on one of the outdoor lights. It wasn’t shining directly on the pool, rather leaving it in shadow, but illuminating a portion of the yard beyond.

“Take your clothes off, Ash.” Alex ordered, his voice coming out stern and ridiculously seductive.
