Seduction (Club Destiny #3)(70)

“Come for me, baby. Come on my cock.”

“Yes!” Ashleigh moaned, her nails digging into his back as her pussy spasmed around his cock and he let go, a sharp tingling sensation erupting at the base of his spine and racing outward until he exploded, coming hard and fast inside of her.

And then it hit him with the force of a tsunami.

Pressing his forehead to hers, he didn’t pull out of her, just held her close. “Ashleigh.”

“What?” Sated and limp in his arms, he knew what he was about to tell her would likely change everything they’d built thus far.

“Baby, I –” God he couldn’t get the words out. “We –”

Fuck.

How did he tell her that they didn’t use a condom?

~~*~~

Ashleigh still couldn’t get over the intense rush that rattled her to her very core. What Alex had done to her only moments before, something she’d thought about ever since the first time he’d done it still excited her beyond her wildest imagination.

When he’d used his tongue to tease her ass, the exquisite warmth rasping over highly sensitive nerve endings, she’d barely refrained from coming right then and there.

She could tell something was wrong, but she couldn’t imagine what it could be. Didn’t he realize she’d liked what he did to her? She wanted it more than she ever thought possible, and if he had wanted to fuck her ass right then, she’d have given in to him at that very moment. That’s how hot she was for him.

Pulling back, she looked into his eyes, the brilliant green glow she was used to seemed dimmer somehow. “What’s the matter?”

“Baby, we didn’t use a condom.”

Ashleigh processed his words.

No, no they hadn’t used a condom. At least as far as pregnancy was concerned, they were safe. She hadn’t made it that far in her life not knowing she was responsible for herself when it came to protection. After the first time they’d slept together, she had immediately made an appointment with her doctor to get on birth control. It was her responsibility as much as it was his.

Now as far as the other concerns, no, they hadn’t been safe and they would have to deal with that fall out. Feeling a little deflated, she eased out of his arms, but didn’t move far away. “I’m on birth control. I won’t get pregnant.” She told him. “And as far as disease –”

“Baby, you don’t have to worry about that.” Alex said quickly, pulling her close. “I’ve always been safe. I promise you that. I’ve always used a condom.”

That was definitely good to know, but it didn’t explain how he had forgotten with her.

“I’ve never been with anyone else.” She said aloud, realizing she’d never admitted it to him until now.

“I know.” The possessive tone in his voice sent shivers down her spine. “And if I have anything to say about it, you’ll never be with anyone else.”

She wanted to tell him the same, but that would constitute a relationship, and she wasn’t sure Alex was ready for that. She had absolutely no intentions of straying – he was more than she could handle as it was – but she wasn’t about to make him feel tied down.

When he pulled her back to him, lifting her until she wrapped her legs around his waist, letting the buoyancy of the water carry her, Ashleigh relaxed into his arms.

She didn’t need sweet words or promises, just as long as she could hold on to him for a short period of time. At least until she had sated the craving she’d been harboring for the past decade.

The only problem… she was pretty sure she’d never get her fill.

Chapter Twenty Three

Three months later…

Ashleigh was sitting at a table in the front of the children’s section of a local bookstore, smiling and talking to the kids who had come to listen to her read her latest book. For the most part, that had gone well, only a couple of unruly kids who weren’t too happy with having to sit still for longer than five minutes, but really, who could blame them?

As much as she enjoyed these public interactions, she was anxious to get back home. Her latest erotica book had released that day, and she was eager to see what her fans were saying about it. Since this one was for a much more mature audience than the one she had entertained for the last hour, she couldn’t very well pull it up on her phone just to see.

Not that spending a Tuesday afternoon with a group of kids who loved to hear about barnyard animals, especially those that talked, wasn’t a nice way to pass the time. It was. But, being that the last few months had been steady going with her writing, much of her inspiration thanks to Alex and his wild ways, she was anxious to get some feedback.
