Slipping the second finger inside Luke, Cole began fucking him with slow, shallow strokes repeatedly until Luke was pushing against his hand, groaning in earnest.

“Fuck!” Luke’s body bucked up off the bed. “Make me come, Cole. Goddammit, make me fucking come!”

Taking Luke’s demand as permission, Cole began fucking him harder, his fingers going deeper, angling to intensify the pleasure as he leaned down and sucked Luke’s balls into his mouth. He didn’t let up as Sierra wrapped one hand around the base of Luke’s cock as best she could, stroking him in a rhythm that matched Cole’s fingers burying deep inside Luke’s ass.

“Fuck!” Luke ground out the word, his body tensing, his ass gripping Cole’s fingers as his balls tightened and he came with a barely restrained roar.

It was only a few minutes before they heard the sweet sound of Hannah cooing from the monitor sitting on the nightstand, and Sierra quickly dismissed herself, leaving Cole to untie Luke. He released one of Luke’s hands before disappearing into the adjoining bathroom, quickly washing the lube from his hands before returning to find Luke still lying on the bed in the same position he left him, though he was no longer restrained or blindfolded.

He wasn’t sure if he should say anything, but he moved closer to the bed.

“Come here,” Luke demanded, his tone firm.

Cole was a little nervous, wondering whether Luke was going to deny exactly what just happened. When he didn’t say another word, simply reached over and grabbed Cole’s arm until he was tumbling down onto the bed, he was shocked. Luke quickly flipped them until he was on top of Cole, his lips coming down against his in a kiss that reflected the same desire that he knew still lurked just beneath the surface.

Neither of them were in any shape to go again, – at least not right away – but Cole knew that the next time this happened, there weren’t going to be any hard limits between them.

Luke broke the kiss, his fingers laced tightly in Cole’s hair, his arms beside his head. Their eyes locked on one another – midnight blue versus stormy green.

“Thank you.”

Cole couldn’t hide his shock at Luke’s words. He wasn’t sure what he was thanking him for.

“Next time…” Luke’s words trailed off, but Cole didn’t tear his eyes away. He wanted to know what Luke was going to say.

“What? Tell me.”

Luke didn’t say a word for long seconds, his eyes never straying. “I trust you,” Luke whispered the words, but Cole heard so much more than just those three syllables. Luke might not say it out loud, but he was acknowledging more than Cole ever expected him to.

By the time the day dwindled to night, Luke was still riding a high from what had happened earlier in the day with Cole. He had thought of little else and he wondered if he ever would. In fact, he’d been so taken aback, he opted not to go back to the club although he was supposed to meet Xander. The man would just have to wait because quite frankly, Luke needed a little time. He didn’t want to be alone, but he wasn’t interested in doing anything other than lounging around the house with Sierra and Cole.

Now that Hannah was down for the night, Luke and Sierra were sitting outside under the stars while Cole cleaned up from dinner.

“You ok?” Sierra asked as she moved to sit on his lap.

“Never better,” Luke said, realizing he’d been saying that a lot lately, but for the first time in as long as he could remember, he actually meant it.

Sierra smiled at him as she snuggled up against him. “That’s the first time I’ve ever believed you when you said that.”

Luke grinned, sipping his beer while holding Sierra against his chest.

“It’s true.”

“Does it have anything to do with what happened earlier?”

“Yeah,” he admitted honestly, not looking to elaborate on the subject, even if this was Sierra and he knew she’d be curious.

The three of them had evolved in different ways since they met, more so since they decided to give this relationship a go permanently, but Luke hadn’t exactly expected to go down the path he was venturing down now. And not just his path with Cole. Although he liked to insist, even to himself, that he was always going to be the one in charge, he liked the fact that he could hand over the reins from time to time. Knowing that he could trust Cole and Sierra with his life only made it that much easier.

“I’m happy,” Sierra said when the silence descended for a little too long.

Luke didn’t need to ask her why. He could tell. For the last month or so, they’d made some significant changes in their lives, and so far, they’d drastically improved their relationship. Not that Luke wanted to get into the habit of making changes just for the sake of trying to fix issues, but in this case, it was long past time.
