Sam tore her gaze away, pretending to be staring down at the main floor activity once again, but she couldn’t get the image of Xander’s date out of her head.

A few minutes passed as she tried to get control of herself while still trying to outlast Logan’s wicked fingers as he teased her relentlessly.

“Are you ready for your surprise?” Logan asked.

As if he even needed to ask the question. “Yes.”

Logan removed his fingers from between her legs and then turned her to face him. She watched as he slowly cleaned his fingers with his tongue and Sam couldn’t resist pulling his mouth to hers for a kiss, tasting herself on his mouth. She was never going to get enough of this man.

Probably to keep from taking her right there against the wall, Logan broke the kiss and then put his hand at the small of Sam’s back as he continued down the hallway, offering her more glimpses into a couple of rooms along the way.

When they reached the last room with a green light above the door, Sam was suddenly saddened that her little tour was about to be over. On the other hand, she knew there were a few unoccupied rooms, and she couldn’t wait to get to one so that Logan could give her the surprise he was offering.

Instead of simply opening the door, Logan knocked. Confusion rippled through her for a second as she tried to figure out why he didn’t just open the door the way he had with the other rooms.

The door slowly opened, and there stood Xander, shirtless with his tuxedo pants unbuttoned, his rippled abs and clearly defined “V” drawing Sam’s eyes. He gave a gentle nod, inviting them into the room, and Sam’s entire body nearly froze right there on the spot as she tried to figure out just what was about to happen.

As she followed Logan into the room, she noticed the flogger in Xander’s hand and an unfamiliar heat penetrated her core. Apparently she was turned on by the idea of the sex toy, but Sam had absolutely no idea why. Nor did she have any idea what they were doing in this room with Xander and his date.

Before she could turn to Logan and ask, the door closed behind them, and she looked up – way up – into the incredibly handsome face of Xander Boone, and it dawned on her just what they were about to venture into.

Sam had only one question…

Did he intend to use the flogger on her or was he reserving that for his date?

Epilogue

“Did you sign the contract yet?” Cole asked Luke when he passed through the kitchen a few days after their soft opening at the club.

They’d managed to slow down significantly since that day, enjoying some time together without the hassle of work, still riding a high from that night. And the days and nights that followed. As far as Luke was concerned, they seemed to be in the honeymoon stage. He certainly wasn’t complaining.

“No,” Luke answered gruffly, biting the inside of his cheek to keep from smiling. “I’ve read them, but I have one concern.”

Cole stopped abruptly, but then again, Luke had practically predicted his response. If he knew Cole, he knew the man was thinking this was Luke’s typical reaction.

“Something wrong?”

Luke knew Sierra and Cole had gone through a lot of trouble to get the contracts drawn up. Not only had he been surprised with the idea that they could have a legally binding relationship, quite frankly, he’d been a little stunned by the amount of work that went into them. At this point, they were working to have the two separate contracts merged into one, but there was one point that Luke wanted addressed before they sent it off.

“Yes,” he told Cole truthfully. It wasn’t anything bad, although the grim look on his lover’s face told him that he was expecting the worst.

The contracts were fairly simple, outlining the details of assets acquired before and during the relationship, acknowledgement of children within the relationship, and various other legal stuff mainly related to possessions. There weren’t any firm stipulations or any odd requests from Sierra or Cole, which Luke didn’t find surprising at all. They weren’t demanding people. The basic intention of the contract was to acknowledge their relationship legally which in turn would help to soothe some of the insecurities that even Luke knew needed soothing.

Sierra walked into the room a moment later, and she stopped right in between him and Cole. “Something wrong?”

“Maybe,” Cole said with a glum expression.

Apparently he was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Luke wasn’t going to tell him that they couldn’t have been more secure in that moment than ever before. He’d find out soon enough.

“What is it?” Sierra asked as she turned to face Luke. Obviously she knew whom the source was, which seemed rather amusing, and Luke had to cover up a chuckle with a cough.
